Daniel Craig In New Coyboy Style: The UK tabloid The Sun has snapped an image of Daniel Craig brandishing an England flag on the set of Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens. It’s all part of the newspaper’s drive to help England win the bid to host the World Cup in 2018. Craig is apparently the two millionth person to support the campaign.

There’s little here that reveals anything much about the film, but I must say that his rugged looks beneath his hat make Craig look like he was born to play a cowboy. Love how the newspaper have framed him next to a giant light just for further confirmation that he is actually on a film set. Craig is a huge Liverpool supporter, having been brought up on the Wirral in Merseyside. Cowboys and Aliens is released next July and the name of the country who will host the World Cup is due to be announced on December 2 this year.

The Activision-published title will be called Blood Stone, according to details on a Eurythmics fan site - corroborating retailer listings from earlier in the year. According to GamePron, the game is in development for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 - although the earlier retail listing also had it down for Wii, too.

The game will reportedly feature a story by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein (GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough), and the likenesses of singer/songwriter and actress Joss Stone as a Bond girl, alongside Daniel Craig and Judi Dench. The report says the game will also feature 16-player multiplayer support. Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes intend to continue work on the 23rd James Bond movie. Despite studio MGM pulling the plug on the movie indefinitely.

As well as having continuous problems with the production on ‘Lord of the Rings’ prequel ‘The Hobbit – both the lead star and the original intended director will work on the movie.

There is currently no timescale for the release of the action movie, with Mendes moving on to work on novel adaptation.

The original GoldenEye was a bond game released for the Nintendo 64 with Pierce Brosnan as Agent 007. A remake had been announced at this year’s E3 regarding a remake of the game. The remake will be made by Eurocom and Activision with Peirce being replaced by Daniel Craig, the current James Bond.

Despite being a remake, the game will not necessarily share the exact same plot elements as the film. The new game will also be called GoldenEye and will be a Wii exclusive.

Daniel Craig, best known as secret agent James Bond on the silver screen, used a fistful of cash to prevail in a battle for a Tribeca penthouse The 42-year-old English actor and American film producer Satsuki Mitchell, who is Mr. Craig's longtime girlfriend, have bought the one-bedroom penthouse apartment at 53 Warren St., which is expected to close next week. They relied on an all-cash offer to seal the deal on the $1.9 million-listed apartment that had received multiple bids."It's a very Bond apartment," said Fredrik Eklund, who with John Gomes listed the penthouse for broker Core. He said the duplex loft has 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and three terraces. The loft's private elevator opens directly onto one of those terraces.

Mr. Craig and Ms. Mitchell are the latest in a long line of film and television celebrities who have made Tribeca home, including Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, James Gandolfini as well as Mariah Carey. Brokers say the downtown neighborhood attracts fewer tourists and the smaller buildings with full-floor apartments afford more privacy. During the economic downturn, however, there weren't that many were buyers for such properties.

The four condos in the building at 53 Warren—but not the penthouse—were initially listed by Prudential Douglas Elliman. The listing was taken over by Core a year ago. The new brokers sold the four units after cutting prices by about 25%. But the developer held back listing the penthouse until the end of last year when the market first showed some signs of stabilization.
